Hi, I’m Lynn Marise.
Welcome to my little corner of kindness and creativity.
I’m so glad you’re here. Before you look around, I thought I’d share a little about myself and the journey that led to the creation of The Kind Canvas Co.
A few years ago, my life changed unexpectedly when I experienced a brain aneurysm. Recovery meant relearning how to walk, talk, and write, but it also gave me something I never expected: time.
During that season, I was lucky enough to spend so much of it with my niece and nephews. They reminded me to slow down, celebrate the little things, and see kindness in its simplest form. Whether it was proudly showing me a drawing, cheering each other on, sharing a laugh, or making someone feel included, they had a beautiful way of finding joy in everyday moments. Watching the world through their eyes changed the way I looked at life and, eventually, what I wanted to create.
That experience, together with my lifelong love of creating, became the foundation for The Kind Canvas Co. I create things that encourage creativity, build confidence, bring people together, and remind us to show kindness—not just to others, but to ourselves too.
The Kind Canvas Co. is just getting started, but the ideas behind it have been building for years. My brain doesn’t seem to have an “off” switch when it comes to dreaming up new ways to create. Whether it’s a colouring book, a workshop, a set of affirmation cards, or something completely new, I’m always imagining new ways to help people create, connect, and be a little kinder—to themselves and to others.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I hope you’ll be part of the journey.

The Kind Canvas Co. is a place for creativity, kindness, and connection—an ongoing collection of thoughtful tools and experiences created to help people slow down, express themselves, and feel a little more supported along the way.
Every colouring page, workshop, and resource is made with the hope that it will leave someone feeling encouraged, included, and inspired to keep creating.
